In the company of elephants 

The elephants lumber toward us up the hill. They come ever so slowly, swinging their heads from side to side, their ears flapping occasionally at flies. Behind them, their mahouts issue short, sharp commands that cut through the warm, twilight air:“Pai! Pai!”
